Welcome!
Welcome to the portfolio of James Martin, Philadelphia based web designer. Have a look around and if you like what you see, give me a shout. I’d love to work on a project with you. This site was powered by Red Bull, strong coffee, and Marlboro menthols. I’d also like to give a tip o’ the hat to Animal Collective, Boards of Canada, Autechre, and Wilco for providing the working soundtrack.

Rittenhouse Pet Supply
This was built on the Textpattern content management system. I was going for a “naive” feel to the site, with hand drawn fonts, cartoon images, and old school 70’s polaroids.

Chilly Dog Sweaters
Chilly Dog was an e-commerce site built on the Zen Cart platform. In addition to that implementation, I was able to increase the site’s Google page rank to first page (third overall) using sound SEO practices.
