"Semi-educational (and semi-literate) entries from the Majordomo at Helikopter Design"

Uptown Restaurant & Lounge

Another site I created on the Wordpress platform with a custom built theme.

I was lucky enough to be asked for an interview by Luc Arnold of Spicywebdesigners.com. You can check it out here.

Welcome!

Welcome to the portfolio of James Martin, Philadelphia based web designer. Have a look around and if you like what you see, give me a shout. I’d love to work on a project with you. This site was powered by Red Bull, strong coffee, and Marlboro menthols. I’d also like to give a tip o’ the hat to Animal Collective, Boards of Canada, Autechre, and Wilco for providing the working soundtrack.

Female Hebrew Benevolent Society

Simple one-page site for the non-profit charitable group, Female Hebrew Benevolent Society.

Rittenhouse Pet Supply

Vine Street Imports

Not a website, but a poster I did for Vine Street Imports, a Philadelphia based importer of wines from Australia and New Zealand.

Chilly Dog Sweaters

Chilly Dog was an e-commerce site built on the Zen Cart platform. In addition to that implementation, I was able to increase the site’s Google page rank to first page (third overall) using sound SEO practices.
